I think this map helps immensely to get a better sense of how things are played out in 1984. I would have never imagined that Oceania encompasses bothAmericas, sub-saharan africa, and Australia and it is very interesting how Eurasia is a sum of Europe and Russia all except Great Britain itself. Disputed areas, although labelled "disputed" seem to me more like areas with no distinctpolitical orientation for the other three areas and are simply just left out
